Brighton Beach best place to Escaping World Conflict 2011
A teenage girl was killed and four men wounded at Brooklyn's Brighton Beach boardwalk on Thursday after two men on the beach fired into a crowd of thousands who had flocked to spend a school holidayThe shooting happened near Brighton Sixth Street at 5:23 pm, according to spokesmen from New York Fire Department and New York Police Department, Wall Street Journal reported.
Around the time that the shots went off, 911 callers reported a fight on the beach, a law-enforcement source told the Journal. But police say it was unclear if that fight touched off the shooting.
Police have two men in custody who are being questioned in relation to the shooting but had not been named as suspects, the Journal reported read more
