Fort Wayne, Ind. – Vera Bradley (NASDAQ:VRA) will begin a partnership with fashion specialty retailer Dillard’s (NYSE: DDS) this summer.

Thirty-five Dillard’s stores across the country will begin selling a limited collection of Vera Bradley handbags and accessories beginning Thursday, July 7, the same day Vera Bradley launches its new Fall Collection.

Plans are to increase the number of Dillard’s stores carrying Vera Bradley product to 65 in late October, when Vera Bradley launches its Winter/Holiday line.

“Dillard’s brand positioning, in-store experience, and exceptional customer service are in line with that of our retail partners and our company-owned stores,” said Cheri Lantz, vice president of indirect sales for Vera Bradley.
