Notes – The Rays feature an offense that while not potent, is deep and diverse. They can beat you a lot of ways and should be expected to aggressively run against the Red Sox. Kotchman is having a great season that has been viewed as a fluke but this is a one time hot prospect who is still just 28 years old. He won’t hit .336 all year but he the idea that he can be a productive player is not especially shocking.

DRays Bay
Notes – Tampa is not the bullpen rich club they were in previous successful seasons. They are solid out there but lack a true “shut down” pitcher. The rotation is outstanding led by David Price and featuring quality guys 1-5.
