Raipur - Maoist rebels back throwing a tantrum with an attack to the police in India. 10 people reportedly killed by police Maoist rebel attacks that some of them women.
The attack happened in the night took place when Indian troops conduct mine clearance operations in Dantewada district. This region is known as the base defense of the Maoist rebel group.
"10 members of the police in the anti-vehicle mines. But the Maoists attacked them with a tremendous explosion, while they were in the patrol," said the official anti-Maoist forces Ramniwas told AFP on Friday (06/10/2011).
Several police officers inside the vehicle could provide resistance after their vehicle hit by an explosion. But the Maoist rebels who had waited outside the vehicle, directly memberondongi them with a shot that ultimately killed the policemen.
This attack occurred after the day before the Maoist rebels carried out attacks similar to that caused deaths of five soldiers. The incident happened when rebels raided a police headquarters in eastern India. read more
