Sources said state education minister, Atanasio 'Babush' Monserrate does not want the inquiry to inconvenience students.
Monserrate, sources said, has instructed education secretary V P Rao, who has been appointed to conduct the inquiry, to carry out investigations only after all processes to do with HSSCE and Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) end.
The minister does not want the inquiry to hamper results related procedures.
The inquiry by Rao was ordered to fix the blame for the mark sheet goof which led the board to declare revision of all mark sheets of the science, commerce and arts streams. The revision was done after students complained that internal marks allotted by their higher secondary schools did not reflect correctly on the mark sheets. Read more
