US president's state visit to Britain takes in tour of Westminster Abbey after meeting the Queen at Buckingham palace

Obama and the first lady, Michelle, arrived at the abbey this afternoon greeted by cheering crowds, acknowledged by the US president with cheery waves.
Inside, Obama laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown warrior before touring the abbey's interior.
